In House Ladder and Ventilation Training

The training continues on Monday February 1st, 2010 during our weekly drill night. The subject of tonight's drill was Ladders and Ventilation. Firefighter Zwick was in charge of tonight's training and utilized various pieces of equipment from Engine 31-2.
Personnel learned about different types of ventilation such as vertical, horizontal, mechanical and hydraulically. In addition firefighters ascended ladders, carried ladders and went to the roof to demonstrate vertical ventilation. In attendance was Firefighters Zwick, Loesch, Reed, Conover, Assistant Chief Grossman, Fire Chief Supplee and EMS Captain Mike Audette. Thank you to all for participating in yet another successful training session.

Engine 31-2
Engine 31-2 carries a 24' extension ladder, a 14' roof ladder and a 10' attic ladder.
