Engine Dispatched To House Fire Just Over The Township Line

On Saturday January 30th, 2010 at 1206 hours, just about an hour into a house fire on Lyons Lane in East Fallowfield Township, the Sadsburyville Fire Company was dispatched to assist our neighbors the Pomeroy Fire Company, as the 11th dispatched company with a working house fire just over the township line. The original dispatch came in at 1111 hours. Engine 31-2 made the response at 1209 hours with 4 personnel.

Engine 31-2 arrived at 1216 hours and instructed by Lyons Lane Command (Pomeroy Chief Tribbet) to fall into the manpower pool. From there crews were utilized in the salvage and overhaul stage of the fire. Chief Supplee and his crew helped pull ceilings and walls and distribute debris out to make sure every flame was extinguished.

Sadsburyville operated on the scene until 1411 hours until being released by Lyons Lane Command.
