Serious Accident at Routes 10 and 30

On Saturday June 22nd, 2019 at 1522 hours the Sadsburyville Fire Company and Keystone Valley EMS were dispatched to Routes 10 and 30 for an auto accident. An additional ambulance and medic unit were dispatched at 1525 hours after several calls indicated two patients with serious injuries. Engine 31-1, Squad 31 and Utility 31 all made the response as well as Deputy Chief Brecht.

Deputy Chief Brecht arrived at 1530 hours and assumed Route 30 command. Command requested additional fire police from Keystone Valley, Wagontown and Westwood. Command reported two injuries and a two vehicle accident.

Ambulance 08 and 44 were on scene within minutes and transported both patients to a local trauma center with Medic 93. Firefighters cleared the roadway of debris and Fire Police directed traffic around the accident. All units cleared the scene at 1704 hours.
