Possible Building Fire, West Caln Township

On Saturday November 25th, 2018 the structure assignment was alerted for the 800 block of West Kings Highway in West Caln Township. This time for a building fire reported by the West Caln Township Police Department. The Sadsburyville Fire Company responded with both engines and staffing of 10 firefighters.

Within minutes the Wagontown Engine 35 was on location and reported nothing showing from a single story school. It was reported that there was smoke coming from a roof top air unit but nothing was visible at this time. Firefighters went interior to begin investigating this while Ladder 41 ascended to the roof to investigate from that level where the smoke was reported.

Engine 31-1 took position on the Alpha side with the truck company and crews went to the main point of entry and stood by. Engine 31-2 was directed to the Charlie side where the reported back with negative smoke or fire conditions.

The situation was quickly placed under control with all normal conditions from the building. Wagontown Chief Ziegler held the Kings Higway Command.
