RIT Responds 600 block of Coates Street, Coatesville City

On November 4th, 2017 at 1013, the Sadsburyville Fire Company was dispatched as part of the 1st alarm assignment to the 600 block of Coates Street in the City of Coatesville for a residential structure fire. First arriving units reported smoke showing from division 3 and went in service with an attack line for suppression efforts.
Engine 31-1 with a crew of 6 arrived at 1024 as the rapid intervention team. Firefighters gathered equipment from Engine 31-1 and assembled on side A to the rear of Ladder 41. Firefighters then deployed ladders to pertinent windows, conducted a 360 and stood by had a firefighter mayday would occur. Fortunately that scenario did not happen and the company was broke down to assist with salvage on division 1.
Sadsburyville units operated on the scene for 50 minutes before being released by command. Manpower and additional equipment was also on scene from Thorndale, Coatesville VA and Modena.
