Reported House Fire in West Caln Township

On January 23rd, 2012 at 1744 hours the Sadsburyville Fire Company was dispatched to the 200 block of Old Wilmington Road in West Caln Township to assist the Wagontown Fire Company on a house fire. Engine 31-1 responded at 1748 hours with 6 personnel.

Engine 31-1 arrived on location at 1754 hours to find a 1 story mobile home type structure with nothing showing. Crews deployed into the house to find a fire in the stove area that was already extinguished.

The assignment was held to Engine 35 and Engine 31-1 by Chief 35. Firefighters used positive pressure to evacuate the smoke from the structure. The fire was placed under control at 1802 hours.

Sadsburyville units cleared the scene at 1814 hours.
