Two Calls on Snowy Day in Sadsbury Township

On January 21st, 2012 at 1012 hours the Sadsburyville Fire Company and an Ambulance from the West were dispatched to westbound Lincoln Highway east of Route 10 for an auto accident. Engine 31-1 made the response at 1018 hours with 4 personnel.
Within minutes units arrived on the scene to find multiple vehicles involved. Assistant Chief Audette established Lincoln Highway Command and requested a second BLS unit to the scene for numerous injuries. Engine 31-1 arrived on location at 1022 hours and assisted EMS Captain Supplee with patient care and debris removal.
Ambulance 28 and Ambulance 29-1 transported to local hospitals. Fire crews removed debris from the roadway and cleared the scene at 1051 hours.
At 1304 hours the Sadsburyville Fire Company was dispatched to the 400 block of Bonsall School Road for an Automatic Fire Alarm. Deputy Chief Supplee arrived on location at 1310 along with Engine 31-1 and confirmed to be set off by cooking and no fire department services were needed. Units cleared the scene at 1312 hours.
